Michigan Creek
Michigan Creek campsite is on the north side of the creek and is fairly compact, with the camping area and creek all close together. There is a lot of space north for tents along the sloping sand beach but do not go too far north as bears are frequently sighted north of the camp. The high tide line comes up far so try and stay close to the forest. There are also a few spots tucked in under the trees, but these can flood in rainy weather.
Whales and sea lions are often seen just offshore and sunsets are spectacular here with Pachena Point in the backdrop.
